Thermal Chek Inc.(TCI) has been owned and operated by the Heaton Family for the last 45 plus years. Started in 1979 by Joseph Heaton Sr, under the simple concept of building the best quality products at the most competitive pricing available. TCI has focused solely on wholesale manufacturing and distribution.

What started out in the humble beginnings of a detached 2 car garage with Joe Sr being installer by day, manufacturer and salesman in the evenings, quickly evolved into the need for a bigger facility and more employees.

Over the years, TCI continued to grow and expand it's manufacturing operations.  From the humble beginnings in a garage, to relocating to three other larger manufacturing facilities, TCI has continued to constantly outgrow its square footage based on the demand for our quality products. 

In 1984, while family members had visions of our next facility being inside some industrial park, Joe Sr had the insight and vision of our present location. Joe Sr saw this location being strategically located near all major highways for shipping and receiving of raw and finished goods. He also saw "growth potential". And in 1990, grow we did, with the addition of a modern clear span building to become its present 60,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility.

But this type of growth needed the help of his sons to help grow and manage this growth. With the help of his oldest son, and after graduating college in 1986 with a degree in Architecture and Engineering, Joseph Heaton Jr joined TCI to oversee its growing operations and use his education and training for overseeing manufacturing operations, and the development of new, innovative products. 

In 1992, Craig Heaton, the youngest son, joined TCI after attending Penn State University, to put his business management education to good use, by assuming all accounting and office responsibilities.  

And Joe Sr's family members didn't end with just his son's. Over the years, he also had the help and commitment over the years of his mother, brother, daughters, and grandsons.

And recently, Joe Jr's son ("Joey" Heaton), who graduated from St Joe's University with a business and marketing degree, has joined TCI to ensure that Joe Sr's vision and concept of building better, innovative, quality products at competitive prices lives on.
